A good place to stop for a coffee and a bite to eat when you arrive on l'Ile d'Orlans. There are plenty of seats outside and in next to this quaint chocolaterie nestled in the trees on the south tip of the island. It should be enough to get you fueled for a tour of one of my favourite locations to visit when in Quebec, especially in the fall. The colourful foliage is beautiful beyond belief!

It's a very cute shop and I would recommend it for a stop. People say the dipped cone is the best around, and they aren't kidding when they say it's a really thick coating. I got a small milk chocolate dipped and by the time I finished I was on chocolate overload. It was very very delicious but because it's so sweet it's quite a lot of chocolate to eat at once (that's the only reason I only gave it a 4). I'm not sure how anyone could get a large size. I also recommend buying chocolate before getting the ice cream because once I was done eating my ice cream I couldn't even look at chocolate anymore and didn't end up buying anything (this is good if you want to save money but if you were looking to bring home samples, buy those first). Really great location and the staff were very nice and bilingual. I'd say it's definitely worth the visit if you're on the island.

This shop is located with a perfect view to enjoy your treat. The chocolates are beautiful, some are colored and reasonably priced. The soft serve ice cream was the best I've ever had and the dip topping was thick and delicious

Nice place for family activity. We stopped there for lunch and rest room break. Chocolate show was great, ice was even better. It does get very busy, lines where out the door but fast moving. Staff was well trained and working as team, they where serving the line as quickly as they can but also making sure they are serving the customer with best service. Parking is limited but cars are constantly moving so can find parking after making few circles in the lot. Great place to spend some time at.

This shop is a must-stop if you are on the island. I guess their main business is homemade gourmet chocolate but we stop here for the ice cream. I am a soft serve chocolate dip kind of guy. When I tell you this is the best I've ever had, I'm not kidding. The chocolate coating is 2-3 times thicker than your average dip and it is delicious. The place is well known to locals so expect it to be busy on a hot summer day!
